Mt. Calvary Baptist Church is to be a culturally relevant church that minimizes dogma and maximizes Love--the Love of a living God as embodied in Jesus Christ in order that we might cultivate a faith that supports broken humanity throughout the difficulties of life.

We want to be a church dedicated to the mission of spiritual, academic and economic growth of individuals through teaching, serving and guiding them to grow beyond their personal experiences into new creatures in Jesus Christ. We want to involve everyone in ministry, so that people will minister to people.

We want to be a source of spiritual substenance, security, and inspiration to those who are struggling with the burdens of life and throughout our spiritual journey together. We want to be strenghtened in our commitment to serve as instruments of God in our church, our community and the world, by confronting, transforming and eliminating those things in our culture that dehumanizes us and perpetuates psychological enslavement.
